Make Money Online By This Weekend

While at BlogWorld, the most popular track, by far, was the monetization track.  The rooms for sessions on monetization of your blog were standing room only.  Picture it — large conference rooms, filled with people, mouths agape, and lines of people at the microphone staged in the audience for people to ask questions of the panelists.

As I walked the halls, people were discussing money-getting strategies for their blogs, what works, what doesn’t, and so on.  Huddled masses in corners figuring out how this “make money online” thing works.  It was obvious this topic generated a lot of interest.

So, what is the big secret?  Is it really just as easy as the “law of attraction” — just sit back and wish money into your life?

Well, yes and no.

Attitude does play a huge role in your success or lack thereof online.  If you’re not solution-oriented, positive, and able to ignore the naysayers, you’ll have much more difficulty with success in any business, especially one that’s based online.

Beyond attitude, though you must actually take action.  But, what does that mean?

Do you know how to “build a blog?”  What niche will your site occupy?  Is this niche a “buying” niche?  What about social media?  Product creation?  What’s a list and how to I “build it?” What’s a sales funnel and how do I use one?  How do I SEO my blog?  What’s Wordpress?  Which affiliate networks should I join?  Persona vs. personal brand?  How do I build a list?  — this list of questions could go on and on and you could spend months answering them.

Or, you could spend the next three days focusing intensely on your online business and be making money by the end of the week.

Which one would you prefer: months and months or a few days?  I’m guessing the few days, right?
