Playing With My Poken

Before I left for Affiliate Summit East 2009, I got a Poken from my friend, Jason at IWearYourShirt.com. A Poken is basically an electronic business card, but they are way more fun than that!

It’s a USB thumb drive (essentially) that holds your contact information and you “slap four” with anyone else that has a Poken and it exchanges the information.

Peter Shankman is a big proponent of Pokens and after just mentioning them in his keynote, today, he sold at least two cases of them to the attendees. Of course, I already had mine from Jason and PokenZoo, so I went right up and “slapped four” with Peter Shankman!

Apparently, the Pokens were quite the hit at the last South-By-Southwest conference. So, go check out PokenZoo and get your Poken, so you can be the “hip” kid at your next conference.
