Lights 2 Music
Welcome back!
I love Christmas, but ever since moving to Florida from Minnesota 20 years ago, this month, I have a very hard time getting in the Christmas spirit. My first 10 Halloween’s were white, so needless to say, my first 14 Christmases were white, also. Green grass and palm trees just doesn’t scream Christmas to me.
Even with the lack of snow, I do still love going to see the decorations and one of my cousins decided to add a musical element to his lights, this year. Inspired by the YouTube video that went viral a few years ago, he finally decided to shell out the cash and time to get it going on his house in central Illinois. He’s been talking to me about it for almost a year and thinking about it for longer. With all his talk, I’ve been very anxious to see the final product and he finally took some video, last night.
I’ve posted his first video of the lights, below, but you can see additional progress shots and I’m sure more video coming up at Light2Music. I think it’s pretty cool and just felt the need to share it with my readers. Please take no religious offense to this post (you know who you are). None is intended. I just think it’s a cool light display. Oh yeah and Merry Christmas, to those that celebrate the holiday.
